In the early 70’s my father Derek Yoder (left) along with my uncle Reed Yoder (right) teamed up to create the Yoder Insurance Agency in the small town of Vacaville, CA. While each agency was owned separately of each other, they were fortunate to work side by side throughout the years and decades to come. Hard work and dedication allowed them to grow their agencies, while operating singularly, under our family name:

When asked why they wanted to become insurance agents, my father (Derek) replied: “It’s all about the customer and the trust they have in you as their agent. They trust you enough to protect their entire financial livelihood and there is nothing more important than that!”

Even though my father and uncle have semi-retired, they created a legacy for our family name that I’m very proud to continue. In the 20 years that I’ve been in the insurance industry, from claims to sales, I have learned a tremendous amount and still love what I do. This knowledge and experience allow me to know that my team and I are providing our customers with the financial protection they deserve.

Many things have changed since we opened our doors so long ago, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is our dedication for the people who have made all of this possible: our customers!

Fast forward 50 years later, we continue to adapt and grow in this ever-evolving industry, but we are still here providing the same great service.
